Telemarketing Representative

Environmental Marketing Services, LLC located in Seneca, SC is seeking an on-site Telemarketer we can train.  Our Telemarketers are the driving force behind our sales team – we are currently seeking someone exceptional.  The ideal person for this position will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.  We prefer previous experience working in an office environment.  The ability to multitask and have excellent time management skills is essential to this position.  Candidates considering this position should be aware that an upwards of 75+ outgoing phone calls will be a daily requirement.

Required Hours:             Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Starting Rate:                $19.00 per hour

Objectives and Responsibilities

Environmental Marketing Services, LLC provides national coverage for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal services to a variety of industries; including laboratories, schools and colleges, government agencies, industrial manufacturers, and many more.  We operate in a highly specialized government-regulated sector, so a thorough on-the-job training process is provided.

            In this position, you will:

  • Use our CRM program (Salesforce) to contact prospective customers via follow up calls and emails to build relationships and effectively market and represent our services.

When needed, assist our customer service manager, and transportation manager with follow up calls, and administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately type 40+ words per minute (A typing test will be administered at your interview- via typingtest.com).
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email (daily client/vendor calls are a requirement for this position).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and aptitude to learn new software programs.
  • Computer aptitude.
  • A self-starter with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
